Keena Howse
Director of Learning & Impact
Keena Howse serves as the Director of Learning & Impact at Bright Beginnings, Inc., where she leads instructional quality, educator development, and program evaluation efforts across multiple early childhood education sites in Washington, DC. In this role, she partners closely with educators and leadership teams to strengthen teaching practice, ensure curriculum fidelity, and use data to drive continuous quality improvement in support of children and families.
With over a decade of experience in early childhood education and nonprofit leadership, Keena has served as an instructional coach, program manager, CDA instructor, and adjunct professor. She brings a thoughtful, systems-oriented approach to her work, with a strong focus on building sustainable processes, supporting educators, and aligning programs with best practices and organizational goals.
Keena holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies and is a Project Management Professional (PMP). She is deeply committed to advancing equitable, high-quality early learning experiences and to building strong, supportive systems that empower educators and positively impact the communities Bright Beginnings serves.
